How to play retirement party bingo
A retirement party mixes coworkers who know the guest of honor from very different decades. Bingo gives them something shared to do. Squares cover the next chapter (golf, the garden, the bucket list, no more alarms) and the party itself (the speech, the card signed by everyone, a happy tear or two). Play it as a spot-it game during the speeches, or call it after cake.
- Place a card at each seat or hand them out with the cake.
- During speeches and stories, guests mark squares as they are mentioned.
- The first line gets to give the final toast, or picks the retiree's next hobby for them.
Tips for a better game
- Add squares about the retiree: their famous mug, their catchphrase, their hometown.
- Collect the finished cards in an envelope: they make a funny keepsake.
- Senior guests? Choose 1 card per page so the squares are big and easy to read.
