How to play office meeting bingo
Meeting bingo (also called buzzword bingo) is a light way to add some fun to a long all-hands, a planning offsite or the last call before a holiday. The list has 36 phrases and moments every remote and office worker knows, from "Per my last email" to the dog barking on the call. It works best when the whole team is in on it and the person running the meeting plays along.
- Share cards before the meeting: print them, or send the share link so everyone can play on their own screen.
- Mark a square when someone says the phrase or the moment happens.
- The first line wins, and the winner gets to unmute and say "Bingo!" Keep it friendly, not disruptive.
Tips for a better game
- Use it for a team social or a retro, not a client call. Agree on it in advance.
- Add your company's own jargon and acronyms. They are the funniest squares.
