How to play bridal shower bingo
Opening gifts can take an hour, and bridal shower bingo gives every guest a reason to watch. Each card holds things the couple might unwrap (a stand mixer, wine glasses, towels) plus a few wedding traditions such as "Something blue" and "Toast." The word list is long enough that every card is unique, so the game lasts through the gift pile instead of ending on the third box.
- Hand each guest a card and a pen before the gifts come out.
- When a gift or moment matches a square, guests mark it. The maid of honor is the judge for borderline calls.
- The first completed row, column or diagonal wins. Play on for blackout (every square) if the gift table is huge.
Tips for a better game
- Add the registry's most-wanted items. If "Kitchen mixer" is on every card, its moment becomes a big cheer.
- Have someone keep the official list of opened gifts on a card. It becomes the thank-you note list.
- Small prizes work best: a candle, a nice pen, or first pick from the dessert table.
