How to play football party bingo
At a watch party for the big game, some guests follow every snap and some are there for the commercials and the food. Football party bingo gives both groups something to cheer for. Squares include plays (interception, field goal, two-point try), moments (coin toss, replay review, the halftime show) and party staples (wings, chips and dip, someone yelling at the TV). It uses no league or team names, so it fits any game.
- Hand out cards at kickoff. 5×5 cards with a free space last about a half.
- Players mark squares as they happen on screen or in the room.
- Check winners at each quarter break: the first line wins that quarter's prize, and the cards keep going.
Tips for a better game
- Print a fresh batch for the second half so the latecomers can join in.
- Prizes by quarter keep everyone watching: first pick of the wings, the comfiest seat, the remote.
- Add your own rivalry squares (a player name, a team mascot sighting) in the word box for your game.
