How to play Friendsgiving bingo
Friendsgiving bingo is a spot-it game for a dinner with friends instead of family. The squares are things that happen at almost every potluck: the group chat planning, two people bringing the same dish, the oven traffic jam, a plus-one nobody has met, the thankful round before eating. Guests mark squares as they happen, so the game runs in the background from the first knock on the door to the leftover containers at the end. No caller and no rules to learn, which suits a crowd that showed up to eat and talk.
- Print one card per guest, 2 per page, and leave them on the table with a few pens.
- Guests mark a square when it happens in the room. Someone else has to agree it counts.
- The first full line wins. Keep going for blackout over dessert if the party runs late.
Tips for a better game
- Add your group's running jokes in the word box: the friend who always brings ice, the famous dip.
- The winner gets first pick of the leftovers. It is the most motivating prize at any Friendsgiving.
- Hosting family-style instead? The classic Thanksgiving bingo list has the parade, the kids' table and the nap.
